I build the parts of a product that are hard to draw.
Six years in product engineering, from startups to institutions, across finance, healthcare, pharma and law. I lead web frontend at a leading financial institution, where I build the bank’s payment and investment platforms.
How I got here
I started at Decagon in Lagos — an internship building WordPress themes and Python tools, then a frontend role shipping landing pages, dashboards and plugins. From there, I worked with Vertex Software out of Austin remotely: vaccine platforms for Merck, patient sites for Austin Regional Clinic, ESG calculators for Dell and HPE Aruba, and the accessibility remediation that took the State Bar of Texas’s practice platform to full WCAG AA compliance.
Now I lead a frontend team at a leading financial institution, across payments, investments and the public web.
How I work
A design tells you where a product is going. It cannot tell you everything the product will meet once it is out — the empty state, the failed request, the person navigating by keyboard, the network that drops halfway through. That is the work I am usually doing, and the part I care most about getting right.
I believe in ideas that have an impact, but impact only happens when ideas are shipped. That’s where I come in — turning ideas into products that work, scale, and solve real problems.
Built because it mattered
Some of what I’m proudest of was unpaid. I built for Immureg, an immunisation registry. I believed the problem was worth solving. It was a chance to use what I know to build something that could be genuinely useful to the people it was designed for.
